Dana 60 Kingpin Bushing Billet Bronze
Ballistic Fabrications’s bronze upper kingpin bushings for the Dana 60 knuckles are designed to replace the OEM nylon cone bushings in severe-duty applications where the OEM bushings succumb to accelerated wear and premature breakage.
Designed to be used with aftermarket adjustable-preload high steer arms or shimmed “spring eliminator kits instead of the OEM spring and cap retainer.
Machined from the highest-grade alloy of any other kingpin bushings for unsurpassed tensile strength and resistance to extrusion, galling, and wear.
Included roll pin prevents rotation of the bushing within the knuckle.
Unique design increases surface area in the highest-stressed areas of the bushing face.
Improved grease passages allow proper pressure greasing and easier servicing.
Eliminates steering shimmy common to kingpin knuckles.
Had to tighten the drift pin a little to get it to start but once started little wiggling and it went right in nice and tight. I see why there are puller holes taped because it would not pop back out even with caps off and moving back and forth.
Excellent didn't have any issues gm king pin Dana 60 dually hub using diy4x spring eliminating high steer cross over arms the combo works very well didn't have to modify the bushings everything was a tight fit
Haven’t gotten to test them out on the trail yet but I installed them. They look like a good quality part and went together without any hassle
Installed these into a Ford axle that had plastic bushings as I plan on going to bigger tires. Went in no problem and the roll pin was easy to tap into place when everything was lined up. It took a little extra effort to hold the knuckle up and tap the bushing into place. Everything went in solid. These should last me a lifetime. Definately not something I want to save money on just to replace at an inconvenient time.
Bushings are just what you need for a stout D60. Came packaged nicely with fast shipping.
